Organizational Structure

Divisions and Chapters

Kiva Students is organized into two divisions: the High School Division and the College Division. Each Division oversees, supports, and sets standards for its respective chapters and is governed by its own Divisional Board. 

Executive Council. The Executive Council coordinates matters affecting the Kiva Students organization as a whole, including its relationship with Kiva, organization finances, and cross-divisional initiatives.

High School Division. The High School Division oversees all chapters based at accredited high schools or operating as independent, community-based organizations composed primarily of high school students. 

College Division. The College Division oversees all chapters based at accredited colleges and universities composed primarily of undergraduate or graduate students. 

Chapters. A “Chapter” is a local, student-run club recognized by the applicable Division. Chapters retain autonomy over their local operations, including their own local officers, meetings, and fundraising activities, provided they operate in a manner consistent with Kiva Students bylaws, applicable Division standards, and Kiva policy.
