President
(a) Serves as the chief executive officer of the Division and its primary spokesperson to Chapters, Kiva, and outside partners;
(b) Leads Divisional Board meetings, sets agendas, and coordinates the Division’s overall strategy and priorities;
(c) Oversees the work of all other Divisional officers and ensures accountability for assigned tasks;
(d) Represents the Division on the Executive Council; and
(e) Signs official documents and communications on behalf of the Division, in coordination with the Executive Council President where applicable.
Vice President
(a) Supports the President across all areas of Divisional leadership and assumes the President’s duties in the President’s absence;
(b) Oversees internal Divisional operations, including coordination among officers and accountability for the Division’s task list;
(c) Assists in the planning and execution of Divisional initiatives, including chapter development and programming; and
(d) Performs additional duties as assigned by the President.
Secretary
(a) Records and distributes minutes of all Divisional Board meetings and maintains the Division’s official records;
(b) Manages the Division’s shared files, including its Google Drive or equivalent document storage system;
(c) Handles official correspondence with Chapters, including meeting reminders, minutes, and general communications; and
(d) Maintains the primary responsibility of overseeing the official Organization email.
Treasurer
(a) Maintains accurate records of all funds raised, lent, spent, and repaid at the Divisional and chapter level;
(b) Prepares and presents a budget for Divisional Board approval and financial reports to the Executive Council as required;
(c) Supports Chapters in developing sound financial and lending practices, including maintaining their own treasury records; and
(d) Coordinates with the Treasurer of the other Division and the Executive Council on matters of shared or Organization funding.
Director of Marketing
(a) Oversees the Division’s social media presence, branding, and promotional materials, consistent with Kiva’s design guidelines;
(b) Coordinates press releases, newsletters, and public communications on behalf of the Division; and
(c) Supports Chapters with marketing resources, templates, and student recruitment materials.
Director of Outreach
(a) Leads efforts to identify, recruit, screen, and onboard prospective new Chapters;
(b) Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective Chapters within the Division; and
(c) Oversees the Division’s chapter mentorship program with the Director of Chapter Relations, pairing new Chapters with established mentor Chapters.
Director of Chapter Relations
(a) Serves as the primary point of contact for existing Chapters within the Division;
(b) Maintains the Division’s chapter roster and contact directory;
(c) Administers the Division’s chapter recognition programs, including the Kiva Points system; and
(d) Coordinates service hour tracking and verification for individual members within the Division.
Director of Programming and Events
(a) Plans and executes international, national and regional conferences, pitch competitions, and other Divisional events; and
(b) Oversees the development of educational resources and chapter guides, including onboarding materials, provided to Chapters.
